Privacy, security and digital identity.

In these times it is increasingly difficult to be protected and/or be aware of what happens to our data. The large “Big Data” companies are aware of this. And the bombardment is such that many times we leave the defense active, either due to fatigue or ignorance.
It is logical that fatigue arrives, every day it is more difficult to protect ourselves from being marketed with our data. The last goal came in the form of a super cookie:

Qué son las SuperCookies? Diferencia entre cookies y SuperCookies - SOLUCIONES.LINK

The super cookie has arrived in Spain

In the link itself there is also the possible solution, but nothing and nobody assures us that this is definitive, or how long it lasts.

In addition, tracking and/or ad blockers will work increasingly worse in the case of Chrome, one of the browsers with the most presence on all devices. how to explain here.

Which forces us to change the browser, and for the vast majority of users, either they do not know or find it too cumbersome (management of favorites, passwords, logins, etc...)

In the end it is a fight between user and companies. And almost always the company wins, sometimes the user may win and it is usually due to some legislative change of a state nature. But once again it is the user who has to claim individually and protect themselves from abuse.

Digital identity.

digital identity | Syneidis

All this is to indicate that today for and more and more, we are acquiring a digital identity and that this is almost as important as the physical one and we have to take care of it as much as our own rights, which with each passing day are spreading to the world. digital.

We must be aware that our digital identity is something beyond the RRSS, which are personal data, way of life, customs, financial data... Depending on which hands it falls into, it can constitute information that can do us a lot of harm with it.

Cases of cyberbullying, grooming (sexual harassment on the network), digital identity theft, phishing, smishing... They are only the most common, and they are growing at an alarming rate.
Acquiring digital skills will help us achieve digital literacy that will make us stronger and we will have the necessary tools to be more protected and enjoy our digital identity.

I leave you a link to learn more, it is the National Institute of Cybersecurity (INCIBE).

In it you will be able to train for free with small courses and report any possible case in which you believe that your digital identity has been compromised.
